AZCDE - Intro

This blog will serve the needs of people considering divorce in arizona.

Mission Statement:
Our Mission is to provide education and assistance to those considering or in the process of divorce in order that they may facilitate the best possible outcome for themselves, their children and their families.

The Arizona Center for Divorce Education offers a free monthly seminar open to the public.
The seminar is held on the first Thursday evening of every month at the Franciscan Renewal Center located at 5802 E Lincoln in Paradise Valley from 7:00 – 8:30pm.

Some of the topics covered at the seminar include:
What to do before you file.
Questions to ask a family law attorney.
Child Support.
Alimony / Separate Maintenance.
How to protect your credit rating during and after divorce.
4 ways to accomplish your divorce.
The difference between a mediator and a family law attorney.
How to evaluate your settlement proposal when the time comes.
How to determine a fair division of financial assets.
Common mistakes to avoid throughout the divorce process.

In addition to the information provided at the seminar there is also a question and answer period provided that allows individual situations to be evaluated without cost or obligation.
